David is a graduate of Syracuse University, majoring in Political Science and Finance, and holds a law degree from Benjamin Cardozo Law School (1987), being a member of the New York State Bar. After a brief visit to Hollywood to write and produce an animated TV series, David returned to NY and applied his background in Mergers and Acquisitions to fuel the growth of Robison Oil, the family business. Transitioning from legal roles, David took on the day-to-day management of Robison Oil, ultimately leading it to become the largest HVAC services and heating oil delivery company in the region, boasting over 200 employees and over 24,000 customers. As CEO, he champions an innovative management style, creating a large yet personable organization where employees are encouraged to build relationships with customers and promote a Can-Do philosophy.

Later, in collaboration with private equity, David ventured into the energy sector, co-founding Original Energy, a natural gas and electricity supply company (ESCO), which quickly grew from a startup to achieving $125 million in annual sales in the New York metropolitan area.

Committed to community engagement, David is actively involved in local philanthropy, serving on the advisory board of White Plains Hospital, as a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester, and having chaired the Westchester Business & Professional Leaders of UJA.
